On 27 November at 2pm (London, UK time), Alpha is hosting a virtual seminar though which Dave Lowrie of Rakon UK will share his experiences of detecting illicit trade through Rakon's export compliance system. An account of Rakon's experience in identifying and addressing the risks of involvement in illicit trade was published earlier this year in the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists.

On 24^th November 2013, Iran and the P5+1 (representatives of the US, UK, France, Russia, China and Germany) reached interim agreement regarding a pathway to resolving the country’s outstanding nuclear issues.
